I love being active in the winter! We skate, ski and snowshoe. I always say, if you live in Saskatchewan, you need to embrace the weather! And if you dress for it, being outside in the cold is exhilarating and fun. I must admit though, I am not a fan of the deep freeze temperatures we can get. I’m talking about the ‘warmer’ cold temperatures that can be enjoyed by all. So, pull on a toque, wrap a scarf around your neck and get outside! You’ll be glad you did! Here we are skiing at Holiday Park Golf Course this winter. The sun is shining, the sky is blue and it’s a beautiful day to embrace the cold! I’m also including a few photos of us snowshoeing on
frozen Waskesiu Lake last January. That was an amazing day as we snowshoed to some of our favourite places on the lake, in winter. It looked soooo different with all of the snow coverings, and we saw a lot tracks of wildlife, and this beauty as well! He stood on the road and stared at us for a few moments, reminding us that we were in his space.
