The Canadian Children’s Book Centre has published its spring edition of Best Books for Kids and Teens and I am thrilled to announce that Tunnels of Terror is one of the books selected as a best book for Canadian kids for this 2022 edition! It is such an honour to be included in this magazine. The books that are submitted for inclusion in the magazine are evaluated by a committee of readers. This year there were over 500 titles submitted. With so many wonderful Canadian children and young adult books out there, it is wonderful that Tunnels of Terror caught the attention of the committee.
I was equally surprised and honoured when Skye Bird and the Eagle Feather was included in the 2018 edition of Best Books, as well. It’s awesome to think that my books and writing sometimes gets national attention. It makes me want to sit down and write another book, or two, or three… : )
